On November 12 at Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts, Miriam Méndez will open the concert paying a small tribute to one of the most important Canadian artists of the last century, Glen Gould. Thanks to him she discovered and fell in love with Bach’s work and specializes in it. She will take Bach and her beloved Glend Gould on an internal imaginary journey through Flamenco and her inner world. Following her tribute to Glen Gould she will continue with a Prelude and Fugue, which she will convert into pure Flamenco through songs like Rumbas and Tangos. She will take you on a  journey also exploring Flamenco by paying tribute to Miles Davis and classic Flamenco songs such as Soleares, Bulerias and more.

With special guest appearances from Flamenco dancers Emilio Ochando and Carmen Romero who will showcase two of their latest creations.
